is in his last hours
it is an amazing process

he is in a coma
with his eyes wide open

breathing from his mouth

no movement at all

i am not sure why
he cannot just go

Breathing is driven by an increase in CO2 in the lungs. Couple that with muscle memory folks may enter a period referred to as agonal breathing when everything else is shut down. Thus the definitive standard is when the heart no longer beats.

May your dad RIP.

You don’t want to remember your parents like this but it’s the circle of life.

Prayers up Brooks for you, your family and all the lives your Dad has touched in his life

Thanks Scag & everyone

That is one of the huge problems, I have.
Remembering him as a Bad A active man.
Some will only remember him as this.

My sentiments also Butch, we went through this almost 3 years ago-
It’s tough, it’s just tough man-
He will always be with you when you see or do something y’all enjoyed together-
We used to call each other about nice sunsets or a bright moon-

He is with me often, I hope the same for you-

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!
