Nope.... I was a pup and a friend said EDS is hiring. I put on my one suit ... walked in.... filled out a paper application. It lasted 38 years. Strange how life goes. A fishing twist. The receptionist sent me to the hiring managers office. One of his first questions was "What do you do on off time?" . I said bass fish. He evidently did also. We talked fishing for a bit and hired. The one and only interview in my life. Raised two great kids.

I have a bachelor's in Economics with a minor in finance and damn near a second bachelor's in accounting and I flip burgers and sling beer. Lol I wouldn't have it any other way.

Yes.

I remember taking an occupational aptitude test in the 8th grade, I thought it was bs at the time, but I ended up in one of the top three occupation choices that it listed for me.

Nope.

Although I didn't have a well defined plan, I assumed that I would be blue collar my whole life (as was my entire family) and was perfectly content when I was.

I recall feeling that I had "arrived" when I received my journeyman card at about 22 years old. I am now 45 and wear a white collar while working as a commercial real estate broker...

No. But in all honesty I didn’t have a plan except to avoid the draft.

Yep, I knew when I was in Jr. Hi. that I wanted to be a coach. Never worked for a long time. My last year felt like I was working so I retired. Enjoyed the first 33 years of my 34 years. That last year became a pain in the arse so I retired. Too much bullchit in education since I started in 1985. And it’s getting worse!!!

I worked in my Uncle's machine shop my 4 years in high school so right off I didn't want to do that. I went to college to be a history teacher until I found out that I was making more at my part time job as a VW counter parts man. Worked for VW for 13 years at various jobs before I finally ended up back in a machine shop in a power plant. That turned into a puesdo Mech. Engineering job that I retired doing. So no
