That shows the standard Puma on their website. I didn't see the hybrid listed. Is it the same for the hybrid? And the older Proxs is about 4" shorter than the new version. Same for the Yamaha's from what I saw last year. It's gonna be a close fit either way. Thanks for the feedback! Looks like I'll be on the phone with Basscat tomorrow! Great looking boat!

There are not many details out yet on the Hybrid and we have not listed it on the web site yet. It will be available in December for production. The top deck is all Bass Cat, as is the upper hull. Basically the lower hull, below the slow on plane water surface, is from the 203 and an exact replica was made to stitch in. With today’s different weights the hull took time to develop after that. It eventually came forward and we are starting production. Not to take from JP’s website, though there is more on our Owners Forum at BassCat.com . We won’t place that info. on here as it would be improper with the open format and us presenting our products on this public forum. We are very internet active and want to help anyone we can. Still we try to keep direct brand items on our own sites to respect others. We will answer whatever’s questions you have and there are several Bass Cat moderators who monitor this forum. https://basscat.com/forum/groups/basscatowner/puma-and-cougar-203-hybrid-soon-to-be-released-wner/BCB

Broke 80 this Monday on Lake of the Ozarks with a 26P Tempest worked by Mark Croxin. May have 1-2 more when the temps drop but setup is pretty much done.
I love the smell of two stroke in the morning.

I'm not sure. I'm just a buyer not a seller. Best to ask BCB or a BCB Dealer. Will we see one at the Houston Boat show?

This is really great to hear. I am surprised more engineers or manufacturers have not capitalized on the popularity and performance of the Champion hulls before now. Guys that have them do not want to turn them loose and for good reason. I do not consider myself old but in my fifties and I would sacrifice top end speed for a dry ride in the chop.
Some boat manufacturers hull designs will get you and/or your partner soaked in 8-10 mph winds.
There was a time when this was not the case. I still enjoy the speed on days when appropriate but I fish when I can and unless it's lightening I will go regardless of the other conditions including temp. Having to wear a body condom to cross the lake is not my idea of fun.
Grateful for every sunrise and sunset I get to witness. - Jason

I have been waiting for a replacement for my stratos 210 and I didn't even know about this boat, I had a 203 previously and loved the ride and didn't like fishability, Thanks a bunch for the post I am very interested to talk with BCB as I have never even considered them as an option
