I live in the same district he is Coaching in. We get kids all the time that want to play for a winner or on turf or for whatever reason. If a kids parents want him to coach them. More power to them.
Take Texarkana for an example.
Liberty Eylau, Pleasant Grove, Texas High or Ark High. Those kids go where they want to. Plain and simple. And it happens all over the State. Coach Briles hasnt done anything that isnt the norm.

It may be the norm but the rules state that you cant do it. Breaking the rules is breaking the rules no matter if you agree with that rule or not. That rule is in place for a reason. Lots of stuff coming out that I had already known in the coaching world when he was at stephenville. I, personally, do not want a guy like that teaching young men and preaching that he is raising them to be young men and do the things he has done. This just goes to show his ego, that even after all that happened at Baylor he still feels like he can do what he wants.

Funny, baylor's little sister university will have to forfeit their championships for cheating. It's in their system.

And it happens in basketball all the time. Probably more than football. Just ask Cathy Self Morgan the former Duncanville girls coach. Apparently she was busted for being an active participant. I haven’t seen anything where briles actively recruited them. They just wanted to play for him. Heck yeah it’s for athletic reasons. Why else would you go to Mt Vernon?

Never said it didnt happen in basketball, it happens all the time, just ask SOC about all the titles they had to forfeit. All I'm saying is it isnt right just because it happens.

It would just be nice if you weren’t such a hypocrite. He went through the process three times. The boys are eligible and yet you disparage him as if he did something wrong with that situation. Now if you want to talk about Baylor and what not then that’s a different conversation. Apparently you don’t like football coaches. I get that. Basketball doesn’t bring in much money or accolades in Texas. I’m sorry
