Enough about football, and politics for now. Lets get back to things we all agree on...like stuff our faces with tasty food!
Fall might be coming finally. I want to try something new and delicious in the slow cooker.
What is your best recipe for the old Crok Pot?
**NO BEEF please. I know that limits us but the GF does not eat beef and I want to make something we can both enjoy.

German potato soup is great and contains no beef. If you search the recipe section you'll find where I've posted the recipe a few times.

when you eliminated dead cow, you eliminated 99 % of anything I had to offer. Beans are all I have left.
Just want to make folks smile, and spit coffee on their keyboard.
If you put beans in your chili, you don't know beans about chili.
God doesn't create temporary people, you will spend eternity somewhere. Choose wisely.

I am probably the only one that does this.
When I have something cooking that I have been smelling cook for 8 hours...I don’t want that anymore. Between smelling and sampling...I want something else...

Not a fan of most crock-pot recipes but my wife found this one and its become a go-to for the weeknights. All common house-hold ingredients, easy to make (3 hours), and at least mildly healthy. We serve on top of jasmine rice with green onions and sesame seeds. https://www.iheartnaptime.net/slow-cooker-honey-chicken/

Throw some chicken breasts in there with some cumin and a jar of your favorite salsa for a few hours.
Makes good street tacos with some diced up some onion and cilantro.
