No problem. Wherever you decide to go I hope you hook one of these bucket list fish. There is no doubt it is a great fight. They keep going to near exhaustion and will certainly test your tackle and angling skills. Lucky for me the fish was only about 40# or I would have been toast. We had several pushing 80 last trip and have yet to get into the 125-150 class yet but I can’t wait. There is no guarantee that because you have on on you will ever get him in, sometimes the fun and most exciting are the ones that get away...but it’s amazing either way.

Public service announcement....

Tarpon season is closing in at a brisk pace for 2020 if you are wanting to book something you better get cracking. I recommend Derick @ Patriot Guide Service in Port O Connor, but whether you use him or not you better get booked now. 60 day window for the big silver fish books up quick aug/sept. Super easy drive and accommodations are pretty readily available down there. Best part don't have to get on a plane or drive 18 hrs one way.

Also, don’t be afraid to haul a cooler full of fillets back home with you, redfish will also be on fire. It only slows down when you have to empty the box and get a head count.
