He wanted me to see urologist to get a prescription for T. Saw him and he said I absolutely needed a prescription as there was not much downside and a good bit of upside. Certainly made me a lot more energetic. At 79, I don't see any downside. Doubt that it makes me a threat to the women.

67/5'10'/190 lbs/no medical concerns... yet! ;/) Stumbled into this section, and read this thread. Had no idea about 'T' levels, or what it meant. Ok, with research, and reading Wiki, I then found a site with what is supposed to be 'normal' levels for your age (I've no idea about my level, I'm 67 and exercise, feel fine, but feel like I need a nap late afternoons now, never felt that way before). I'm getting a physical in Dec., guess I ask the doc to let me know what my level is. https://www.menshormonalhealth.com/normal-testosterone-levels.html

I tried the shots and saw very positive effects early on. Felt much better, had lots of energy. Then it seemed my body got used to it and the benefits were no longer there. In fact it seemed to completely dissolve my patience levels. I stopped doing it. Diet and exercise are more effective in my opinion.

Just got my first shot a week ago. Will see how it goes.
Ephesians 4:4-6 KJV
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

When I was 35, my first trip to a doctor where they actually checked my Testosterone, mine was like 125, they said it should be around 900 - 1100. I got prescription testosterone and started injecting it with my wife. Once we figured out how to properly do it, I noticed a major change. The only major issue I had was my blood pressure went through the roof. About a year ago, I tried the Bio - T pellets and again blood pressure went sky high. Once I get blood pressure where I need it to be, I will go back to Bio - T. Only issue insurance really not cover any of it. But Bio -T seemed to work well. I noticed changes in my performance at the gym for sure, mood got better and performance in bed got much better

Similar to you I exercise regularly with no helath concerns but fatigue is a factor between 2:30-4 EVERYDAY. I resorted to changing my daily routine a bit this week to include something aside from sitting behind the desk between 2-4. Doc said this was a 'normal' course of aging. Recommended watching hydration closer and increasing/decreasing foods that have abnormal hormonal impacts. Getting enough sleep helps for me too. I have friends who can sleep 8-10 hours and still take a nap in the day. Never been my thing...if the sun is up I'm up and usually well before. Doc also said if symptoms persist OR sex drive was low then we would explore some options for specific "T" therapies. He cautioned it's a slippery slope because once you start taking treatments you have to maintaint the rest of your life. I made the decision to put it off as long as possible.
Grateful for every sunrise and sunset I get to witness. - Jason
