It's a done thing. Funny how some just love to hate or judge here in the OT. I really appreciate the real posts. Some people are just born ignorant Good luck, man. I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m just saying you seem awfully confident, especially after four days. The road is littered with confident quitters of nicotine, myself included. Check the tobacco quitters forum above. Again, good luck. No doubts needed but I understand, I got this I’m not doubting. Just a word of caution. You got it.

Quitting cold turkey after 30 years and making it 4 days is a huge accomplishment in itself. Congrats senko95, you've got this!

Sept 10th will be 59 months tobacco free for me. I smoked and dipped for 40 years. I had to have some help. I wasnt able to go cold Turkey. Keep going like your are. You can do it. I cut straws in half and held them in my hand. And I believe I ate 8956 starburst.

I am amazed how easy it has been so far. I'm past day 4 and the few craves are extremely easy to handle. I quit a long long time ago. 41 years ago. I did it cold turkey and I was grumpy for about 2 weeks then it got good from there. I started running to help clear my lungs. Worked good. The hardest thing for me was figuring out what to do with my hands since they were used to having a cigarette in them to maintain. Good luck, stay off them, it gets easier.
