Small chances of rain late into the week. Temperatures look like they will not be the 100 degree range. They will be in the 95 to 98 degree range.  A lot of nice fish have been caught during the HOT month of August! Who will be fishing the last week of August?  Reminder! Hunting/Fishing License expire at the end of this week!

Monday morning on the Navasota River with the younger grandkids and youngest daughter. Going for bream. We should catch a bunch, though they’ll be small. Should be lots of fun, with fish counting and trash talking.
About time I showed the kids how to clean fish.

I fished this afternoon, Lake Georgetown from the bank.
Caught some hand size bluegill, gonna try again tomorrow morning from a boat on Lake Travis, since the weekends are a zoo.

I didn't make it. Bad sinus night. It's been the heat for me lately! The fishing I have been doing has been mornings. Hope to be getting out more once it cools off. My younger years the heat was not a factor at all! Work was the biggest factor in my younger years of fishing.
