We always play the ball down and yes I have hit driver from the fairway. Go to Breckenridge and play. # 3 is 612 yards straight South. I have hit driver, driver, 5 wood, wedge to the green many times when the wind is blowing 15 or 20 mph out of the South.

By the way the range finder we tried was a Leupold

Not only have I played that hole at Breckenridge... I have an old golf buddy named Blackerbee that was from that area. Would you happen to know him, or if he still plays there? Paul?

Yes I know Paul. He was the club pro for many years. I moved from Breckenridge in 1985 but the last I heard he was still around. Did you know Kenny Parrish? Him and Paul played together a lot. Kenny Passed a couple of years ago.

I don't care how short the par 4's are, if I break 40 on the front nine at putt-putt, I get excited.

Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.

I can't remember who Paul's playing partner was but competed against him in the mid 70's in some of the west Texas golf tournaments. I think I was still in high school at the time and played a Breckenridge partnership tournament. So long ago. Do remember him being one of the best golfers out that way but remember him more for being such a great guy.

I don't shop Dicks

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.
