Jerry made Zeke a reasonable offer and he declined it. No man is an island.

I thought Jerry’s joke was great. This is not going to end well for zeke, 1) he will lose a lot of money... isn’t he locked up 3 years? 2) he could be the GOAT, he is blowing that, and 3) he is gonna missout on super bowl this year!

Zeke should be offended that he disrespects himself and the team on a regular basis. Jerry has stood by him and supported him in all his misadventures with the league office.

That is a good point. Jerry went to bat for Zeke when he was in trouble for you know... allegedly sexually assaulting or battering or what ever the heck he did. Sorry, I wont say accused, he did that stuff. He can sue me for dissing him.

Zeke is losing power in this negotiation by the day. Jerry's comment was 100% planned and tactical, and it was extremely effective.

I think any RB playing for the Cowboys will be above average just because of their OL. A good RB will be elevated to top 5 or 6 in the league. No doubt Zeke is one of the best in the game, but taking a step down doesn't exactly hurt the team.

My guess is Zeke will be back in pads by preseason game 4, if not next week. He will play this year on his rookie contract, and get a new 3 year deal next year.

Plus #1. I could also not care weather he plays another down of football. Life goes on!

Amen. And he's already been fined $900,000 for not being in camp. He should sign the deal Jerry offered him. But I also read yesterday that Jerry's probably going to offer him $32-$33 million with more guaranteed money.

Its a shame to admit but I have no doubts he gets paid....he will be back sooner rather than later and all will be forgiven on both sides. He will get in trouble again. That I have no doubt about either.

I wish more players were like Jaylon Smith. He came out and says he wants to be a Cowboy for life. He said since the team took such a big chance on him and have treated him so well that he feels like this is home and wants to stay here. He said he ain't looking to break the bank or set the market. He said just pay him a number both sides feel good about and lets go play ball. Love that attitude. Loyalty is rare and he has it.

Zeke isn't he the spoiled trouble maker on that Dallas team? He doesn't deserve any respect since he isn't fulfilling he contract commitments. Jerry should cut him loose before he gets in trouble again. Just another entitled athlete.

If Zeke misses any significant playing time, this will put the anus on Dak and the other skilled position players to step up their game

I hope they’re up to it because taking the running game away from Dak and forcing him to pass inside the Red Zone could be disastrous
