Wisdom!^^^^^

Also a great time to find out exactly what you should carry in the tow vehicle to accommodate the side-o-da-road fun.
I stopped to help a fellow Skeeter owner who was on his second blowout of the day. I offered to let them use my spare tire...only to find out that I didn’t have a 5/8 box wrench in my truck to actually remove it. So, he did. Now I DO! I would have been up a creek if it were my boat with a flat. Go through every step and scenario and plan ahead.

Lightweight aluminum floor jack, 4 way, 2X6 blocks, old beach towel to sit, kneel on. Those things are in my tool box 24 7 365. I haven't even removed the factory jack from any truck I've owned in 40 years. Jumper cables, tow straps, tie downs, pry bar, basic hand tools, 12 Volt compressor, lights, fencing pliers, small sledge hammer, chain, come along, empty gas can, and change of clothes and boots all in box all the time. I don't have a clue why anyone with a tuck would leave the house without a tool box with the basics. If my wife or one of my daughters calls me and says they need help, I don't want to have to go home first to get my shiet. Besides that , trucks ride better with some weight in them.
