Thanks again to everyone for the tips.

My wife and I caught a lot of fish. Several 15 to 18 " Rainbows.

She mostly fished with shrimp. I mostly used a Rapala #7 Countdown Black and gold, a black rooster tail did well also. I threw and wound so I could pick opportunity to fish in between boat control, baiting hooks, untangling line, netting fish, removing hooks, and releasing. We kept our limit the first day and had a nice fish fry.

The BEST thing about the trip is that my wife loved catching fish and being on the river. I'm really proud of how quickly she got the hang of casting, feeling the bite and bring in the fish. I'm exited that she wants to start fishing with me in our boat on the local lakes.

Awesome river. Mornings were flowing just right, by 2 it got a little heavy.

I highly recommend Rim Shouls Resort. Great folks.

GOD is good!

Thank you to everyone who spends time enjoying the Twin Lakes area. We have a lot to offer and the weather has been pretty reasonable this summer.

From Bull Shoals and Norfork to the White River and Buffalo there’s a lot to do here. They had a 19 lb. 8 Oz. German Brown caught today out of the State Park on the White. The smallmouth fishing on Crooked Creek’s not bad either.

Drop by the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce while your in the area and let Jeff or Angela know your in town. They need to know you guys drop into town and that you enjoy both bass fishing and have fun with the rainbows.
