It was almost a month ago, but the topwter bite was kinda on, but the spinnerbait bait bite was on. BIG spinnerbait screemed thru the topwater, almost waking and they would dang near take the rod out of your hands. Mostly smaller lmb, but a few upwards of 3 and 1 about 4.5 lbs. Wish I could help more, but it has been a while. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Thinking of going out this afternoon.

Its been a month since I've gone out, but last time I fished got into a big school of 3-4 lb spots on topwater in the mouth of little grape.

Biggest fish were in the deepest water furthest from shore. Seems like the closer I got to shore the smaller the fish.

Never caught one over 4, but had several spots at 3.7 to 3.8.

Only trip like that I've ever had on that lake.

Will likely be fishing deep this afternoon, hoping for a largemouth. Will let you know if I catch anything.

Not much to report.

When uplake. Marked tons of fish in 15-20 ft. Couldnt get bit on cranks or jigs out deep. Mainly hopped around and fished points. Caught 1-19 spot and 2 around 16 in less than 5 ft on a jig.

Tons of small spots schooling. Hit up a few different schools on top water but everything was 12 or less.

Tried to run crankbaits and jerk baits under the schools to catch a better fish but only caught a couple small fish.
