That doesn't really work. I am sure it varies by provider, but most of the DVRs out there try to be smart and, even if you put in a repeating manual recording at a certain time, it reads the title and tries to get all those matching titles. They think they are helping you in case it moves times or you want the reruns. For example, I have a certain time block of a few hours I want to record every week. However, they occasionally change what show is first in that block. So, Tivo will adjust all my times to start whenever that original first show is and I miss anything before it and catch a couple of hours of unwanted stuff after it. Right now, about all we can do is manually scroll to that show in the guides and select "Record THIS episode." Hence, why ETxRT needs a list of the schedule.



I am on Suddenlink too. I haven't watched the show yet, but just checked what was recorded by fast forwarding the first few minutes and it was Honey Hole.
