Im boycotting the term good read when referencing literature of any kind. Im also boycotting any sentence that replaces the word question with the word ask. (Example - Whats your ask?)
Excellent boycott choices. I am boycotting anything that starts with Ima. Who in the world is Ima? Ima gonna need cash. Ima up in your face. Seriously, who is she? Bob, ima axe you. Any good reads I should know about? You are hereby boycotted. Please don't axe me.

All Lee Child books are great,I would also suggest anything by Stephen Hunter, especially the Bob Lee Swagger ones, also about anything John Sanford wrote,Grissom is very good as well as Michael Connelly.

Seriously Ima gonna learn ya who she was Ima, she is known as "The First Lady of Texas" born in Mineola, Big Jim Hogg's daughter. Now you know who she is, and no, she did not have a sister named Ura.

Finished the Wilbur Smith books at the library. All good. Read "Top Gun", not the movie but the story of the history of the program by the guy who started it.

Glass Castle:
Not exactly an action / adventure story, but a absolutely incredible biography of a girl surviving troubled alcoholic parents and poverty.
Not as depressing as it sounds. In fact it is really funny at parts.

I'll make my suggestions for good read. If you like books in series try these they are a lot better then Reacher
Tanner series by Remington Kane Tanner is a assassin but only kills bad guys while avoiding the FBI.
Caliber Detective Agency by Remington Kane Caliber is a detective who's father and grand father were detectives with a 8 shot revolver. Good read.
For about $4 book.

I do not have any favorite female authors in the mystery / thriller /action category. When looking for a new read , I look at the author's name first. Does this make me a bad person?
