I went out Thursday and I bought mine at Mikem's. Those were the best quality minnows I have seen in a long time. You get the size you ask for and they give you plenty of water. I bought from the Snap Shop before and they were dying before I hit the water. PLus you can get a little help sine this is a actual bait shop. They are not open on Mon-Wed. but the rest of the week they open at 6.

Very nice! Lots of white Crappie. Is RR a predominantly white
Crappie lake?

h20 you will catch more whites on the west arm but will catch a lot of the blacks on the east arm. The blacks seem to like the clearer water better, once you get close to Cates Point the blacks are common.

We stopped at Mikem's in March and they were closed; so we didn't have any minnows. We went there on a Sunday AM. Do they have spring and summer hours?? This is Mikem's of of 3022 Bridge; right?? Cause if they're back in business, I want to get some minnows from them for a night trip under the bridge soon.

Thanks, and

Later

Accroding to the door, they are open Thurs-Sun 6AM-7PM. They were open Thursday morning when I went. I believe they opened up some time in April.
