I picked up 25 3/8 JuneBugs today from Ron. Always a pleasure to work with. Great product and fast service. That Glitter Blast paint job is the bomb. Oh and this thing looks like an Alka-Seltzer going to the bottom of a glass on Livescope. I think I knocked a crappie in the head and it floated to the surface...

I can't wait for the "special order" of 2" SourGrape from Slab Bandit Baits to come in. This jig head will team up well with it and be Dynomite on Grapevine in the Fall when bottom bouncing crappie on the rocks.

Poured and painted some 3/16 & 1/4 oz. The 1/4 worked perfect today out of the kayak. In 15+mph winds

How stout are those hooks?

Got me some 3/8 oz jigs w #4 J hooks. Try them Sunday really liked them a lot, fall fast, works great with livescope/wind and my dive bomb tactic. What I notice is that I caught a lot less small ones, nearly all were 11 inch or bigger and most over 12 inch.

The 3/8 size jigs definitely impacts the bite. This weekend could not catch any, dropped down to 1/4 started catching them with first drop.
