I'm not in there Demo.. but I think what they are doing is fantastic. With the state of TV these days, Youtube offers more to me than just about any TV channel.. except for other sports. If I need instruction on doing a repair of just about any kind, somebody has done it before and has made a video about doing it. Its just a real good tool for stuff like that. But also, there is entertainment youtube channels as well. I'm not sure which of them is the business leader but they have created a market for their baits, and also for Favorite Rods and Reels. I bought some Bandito Bugs in the natural color.. first time I tried flipping one on a shakey head.. I caught fish. I don't know if anybody in BASS is using the baits, but I know 3 of the BPT guys are and also Scott Martin on the FLW side. They have spread out into line now.. both Flourocarbon and braid.. stuff made in Japan. I don't have a need at this time, but based on the quality of the soft plastics I will give it a try. Jacob Wheeler and Dustin Connell have been wearing fish out on a new swim bait design that isn't on the market yet.

Pretty sure they are full time with the Googan thing. I know at least 2 of them dropped out of college to pursue the fishing thing. Looking at the houses they are buying and building, trucks they are driving, and expensive toys they are buying I would say they are killing it! Not to mention at times they have their own little film and edit crew along on these trips plus the full time employees they just hired, warehouse they just opened, boats they are giving away, etc.

No idea what kind of money they are making and its none of my business anyway. I would say they didn't get all that on credit alone though.

By what I've read, this years Classic in Tennessee was the highest attended ever. I went and DSG had a meet and greet set up with them and the line was in the hundreds long. Not another vendor that attended with a pro in their booth came remotely close to getting that much attention. Gotta give credit where it's due. We all know what happens when a pro wins a tournament on a new bait. There area few using them now. When that happens, a lot of the market segment we think is not interested will be following like sheep.

Can someone post the address of their shop?

The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach
