If I were single, it would be Pecos, NM for me.

Are there any Lake front houses there ? I was there years ago , I only remember houses " on top of the hills "

Great view but a long way to the shore , no boat houses.

Good Luck

Right here on Lake Belton. Beautiful lake and lots of rednecks. Fishing is mediocre and it is hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Can count on at least 4 nice days in each the Spring and Fall. But the AC is wonderful.

Growing up we went and trout fished the Little Red River 2 or 3 times a year. My parents retired and moved to Heber Springs in 92. Nice town but it has changed.

If I could afford it and my family would go with me I'd retire in Costa Rica. Everything I enjoy doing is right there and more of it.

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

Yes, this is absolutely heaven. Used to spend a of time there the 23 years we lived in AR. Considered retiring there very seriously, but our kids moved to DFW area and that was that. The ideal situation for me would to be wealthy enough to have a place there and at Fork and be a pilot so as to fly my private plane back and forth. That will never happen. Just have to stay happy with my RV spot at Fork. When I die, it would be nice to have my ashes thrown off the Edgemont bridge at Greers. A beautiful scene by anyone's standards.
