As of Sept 1rst this year all shark rigs must use a non stainless circle hook.

We usually do not catch and release. We fish until we have our limit and then switch to something else or call it a day. I certainly have nothing against anglers who catch and release. But survival rates are higher for fish not caught at all than caught and released on circle hooks.
