Have they started on topwater yet? Trying to take a break from studying for finals, and that pattern should be kicking off soon. Once this weather stabilizes they should. Tournament is Sunday and its beautiful weather once again. Debra

I got 6 yesterday, and lost just as many next to the boat. They're real timid right now ,but all my bites came in the 5'-10' range off wood piles.

Couple of really nice fish in those pics! I was out Sunday also but didn't fair as well. Water temp was 75 degrees and lake is full. Saw lots of 2" bluegill and fingeling bass along the bank. Recreational boat traffic is picking up now and will continue to increase as the lake level is at capacity and summer approaches. I'm guessing I was fishing too deep. Is the bite shallow right now?

Should be a lot of fish moving up to spawn ! This lake is so cold natured the spawn usually gets going in April . With this years cooler weather and rainfall its making it a bit late. Good healthy Bass in the pics and should be more showing up when weather stabilizes. The fish from the stocking a few years ago should be solid ! I'm finally able to get out after recovering from Prostate Cancer Surgery. Gonna try it this week before I head back to work next week. Will give a report .
My stringer is getting there!!

We caught most of our fish in 10-15 feet of water, but the big one came from about 5 feet. My buddy went back Sunday evening and caught a bunch deep off his doc with minnows. I wouldnt say theyre particularly shallow. The majority of the bass we caught were undersized. 1 good fish, a couple that were barely legal, and a bunch of dinks.
