When do you decide on rattling vs non? I usually fish the silent mainly because I was told to by people more experienced than me. Just curious what conditions you use the rattle vs non? I like either sexy shad or the chanteuse/black (dirty water).

Agreed, an 8" lizard is what I fish most often. However, when the bite slows down I seem to have better luck with a 10" worm low and slow. If I find them more shallow, do the same with a senko.

Can you post a pic of that 10 foot worm for us?

I have caught MANY fish on a rattling CB. I prefer to throw a Rat-l--trap style bait to catch fish with. Nothing wrong with a worm, if you want to go that way, but I like to try to catch more active fish first, then move onto a rattling jig or rattling Texas rigged worm/lizards/fluke. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Many have already said it, but you really can’t go wrong with a quality chatterbait. That vibration really helps them find it, and you can cover a lot of water with it. Great all around bait, in my opinion.

Wait, bass eat cut shad?

I just wish there was way to cut a shad up and some how resurrect it after I'm done fishing.
