I think the 10.04 was first...Either way though when they are that close the guy with the 10.02 might have thought he had the 10.04 beat.

I would have just waited and not take the chance. hmmm

One of them sure didnt play the game right. Could've waited for the bonus hour and doubled up to 10k or both won an hour.

That is exactly what I was thinking! hammer

I fished it yesterday. Much to my surprise, it wasnt that bad. I met some nice guys, had zero problems with other anglers and courtesy and launching/loading wasnt that bad. Ive experienced worse during the 30th annual McDonalds. My only issue was the fact the weatherman said 8mph out of the NE. In reality, it was 15-20 out of NW. made the lake a little rough and hard to fish areas on the main lake.

A friend of mine told me 30 years or so ago that if it is blowing 5-8 in Lufkin it will be 20+ on Rayburn!

That has been true way more times than not. freak

Then 2 9s in the same hour with 4 8s. They should be talking at those tanks. Looks like 10 might hold out. Crazy, I thought a 12 would take it but there has been a ton of 8s weighed in

There had to be over 8,000 entries my buddy fished it and fished the last few Anniversary events also he said he had never seen so many boats on that lake ever and he lives on the lake.

Congrats to my friend and RHBC member Mark Werner who weighed in an 8.77. He tried for that bonus hour deal but got beat out the last second by two 9's. He got 9th overall and won $1500.00! cheers

I saw that the winning fish was caught on a frog. Does anybody know what the other 4 caught theirs on I was courious. I got stuck waiting in line for the bus for about 30 mins at the stump then another 30 min van ride to weigh in so I missed the first part of the event.

I was fortunate enough to land a 9.53 on Friday which put me in 3rd overall and I was even more fortunate enough to stay in 3rd the entire tourney. [Linked Image]

I think a few on Carolina rig as usual. A couple shallow fish but most mid depth
