We went to the north end of ray rob on sunday. My girl, one of our kiddos(9yo), my bro doug and myself. It was a new to us spot. We have fished ray rob for years just not this spot. It turned out to be a great gamble. We woke up early and got bait, snagged my nice new castnet and lost it to the depths, good thing we always have 2. Amanda saved the day with hers and caught all the bait we needed. Loaded up the 4 boats and drove north. The spot was kind of tricky to get all our gear down to but we managed ok. As we paddled around and explored the new spot we saw a ton of logs and trees waiting to snag all of our lines. Found a nice hole and anchored. The action was steady with a few fish over 10 lbs. Everyone caught fish. Team amanda and ryder(9yo) ended up with 6 fish and a long nose gar, doug got 4 fish and i got 6. Overall it was a great day and we are excited to get back there and do some more recon....with rods.

Good work!!! The north end of Ray Bob has a lot to offer.
Were y'all running trotlines?
