Found plenty of keepers male & female on main lake humps west of twin coves. Also found lots of small
8" fish out off Murrell point. Lake high and 62 degrees.
50+ fish on white 1oz slabs 26' deep. 9:30 till 1:30 today.

Good to hear!
They were shallow out by Murrel Saturday, but I was still catching them deep in the same area. The boat show were catching small ones with rattle traps and such, so I went slab to go deep, but I only caught little ones out there also. All my bigger fish were west close to rock crusher.
2 weeks ago they were on the surface, way out west on the north bank in less than 12 ft. of water. I was throwing 3" swim baits with spiked tails and that was producing nice 12" - 13" fish.

Some nicer fish were mixed in yesterday. Some smaller ones mixed in. Hope the lake doesnt get too high with the rain coming in. Wouldnt be surprised to see it over 5 ft high by the weekend
