First of all im looking for Humminbird mega si units for sale. Secondly im wondering on the helix 9 does it come with the small transducer? Ive heard you can upgrade to the larger full size mega transducer and it makes for a nice upgrade. Any reviews on that particular size? How do you like it? Thanks in advance.

The G2N and G3N come with the top of the line MEGA SI transducers just like the Helix 10 and 12 in both series. The transducers are different between ages though. MEGA SI is the top one and MEGA SI+ is the bottom one. They are not interchangeable although you can down grade the G3N to a G2N by using the older transducer. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/QdhX0cXC/2megaSI.jpg)

Ok i see . Im thinking of buying a helix 9 g2n si and it seems that the transducer it comes with is as good as it gets. I saw some guys mentioning a upgrade but they may have been referring to the gen 1s

The HDSI transducer will improve those. You have to pay attention to the exact model being discussed.
