Console (flat mounted) in my Ranger 188, unit is two years old and works great. However, the last 3-4 months when I accelerate, run fast, or hit waves, the connectors jar loose, and shuts down This is really getting aggravating, because this is where I run my GPS/Lakemaster. Plus my wife is getting tired of crawling under the console to reconnect the plug/plugs Any suggestions to get these to stay connected. I hate to have to pull the console apart to try something. thanks,...jim

I'm curious as to what the solution was to this. I have a Helix 7 that stays on the bow (e.g. takes a lot of turbulence) and even though it doesn't have this issue, it could one day. Obviously the Helix 7 doesn't have the cable tray like the older units did that would help with this...

Mine does the same if I hit a big wave. I ended up zip tying the wires in a way that put some positive pressure on the plug.
