Have the Minn kota rip tide with spot lock and track. As you know I fish a little differnt than most people. I have never once used the tracking but I use the spot lock all
day every day. BUt that is just me.

+1 on the Minn Kota sticking the landing. I bought the saltwater version and I have used it out at the jetties at Port O'Conner with wind out of the South and an outgoing tide. It never confused the motor and held like a champ. Couple of weeks ago used it at the river leading into Caddo lake. Pretty strong current due to recent rains and it held solid all day.

I just had the 36v ulterra link put on my boat. Fishing just went to 11
