Have a tournament coming up at the end of April was wanting to see what everyone was throwing this time of year to get the big bites.

Bass Champs there this weekend, so I'm sure that anyone on big bites will be pretty tight lipped- but there's a tourney there every weekend seems like. Fish your strengths & good luck.

stick baits, creature baits, ol' monsters fished weightless, Texas rig, Carolina rig, crank baits from .5 to XD10, swim jigs, bladed swim jigs, rogues, jerks. Sam Rayburn Bass are biting a wide range of baits.

You and about 1000 other people have a tournament end of April. Get gas before you get to the lake. Hope you catch the big one.

Right now you can fish however you want, the main thing is just finding the fish. Different areas are at different stages of the spawn so you might have to check around or just find an area and try to figure out what stage they are in and how to catch them. The bad part is if the area you are in is in a funk you are SOL

The bad part is if the area you are in is in a funk you are SOL I fish Rayburn 3-4 times a week and this is very accurate, a lot of fish in a lot of stages. Yesterday we caught post spawners and prespawners in the same school deep cranking ..

I think you might be a little conservative on your number....probably more like 5000 other people have a tournament the end of April. There's a little ol' tournament that weekend that's going to pay out over $1,000,000.

It will be crazy! I had thought about fishing it but with ramps still closed and camping areas closed the ramps will be stupid!! As stated above that�s the real pain!
