I will be there riding as a judge again. Hopefully we get decent weather. It should be a slugfest.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Lee on his last day on Fork before off limits starts. We had over 37 lbs on our best 5 for the day. Didn't start until 8, had a nice lunch, and quit at a decent hour. He is the favorite and he will be a handful for the other Elites. The event is going to be a good time for all with a public party at the Minnow Bucket. Hope y'all can make it out.

Word is that the official fishing hours will start after the sun is up so that the cameras can capture everything. If that's true, the shad spawn won't be a big player.

How is this going to work? Normal Fork limits of only one over and four unders (or five unders)? Or did B.A.S.S. get a waiver from TPWD for this event to allow any five fish? Or will it be a MLF/BPS style catch-weigh-release format?

Catch weigh release. Been that way since the TTBC which is now this Texas Fest was started. It's the format that MLF copied. ttbc was first

Best 5 weighed in the boat. Overs come to the stage.

I bet theres a few overs for this one. Will be interesting to see if they can break their past records.

Easy. Lee doesn't fish the Bass Pro Tour.
