he had a skeeter. There is no such thing as “flex” in a skeeter transom. It is aluminum between the composite and the aluminum is braced and welded to stringers that run up through the hull. The transom, with its four mounting bolts, can support the entire weight of the hull.

His trim pump still has slack in it. The thing had air in it and isn’t repaired correctly. No a transom issue, and no motor toter or transom support/trailer thing is ever gonna help.

The aluminum bracing didn’t come around until 2001 or 2002, with his motor being a 97, isn’t his boat older? I’m not arguing, could be the pump, I don’t know.

Possibly. I’ve seen his boat, didn’t realize it was an older boat. He takes good care of it. Looks a lot newer to me. Ha

Gonna be bushings in the mid or even lower motor mounts. We do them on Yamaha all the time. Text me Ricky.

If you had the tilt and trim rebuilt it takes a while to get the air out of the system. Loosen the little round cap on the fill hole and work the t&t up and down. You can hear the air coming out of it. This may need to be repeated several times for several day to get all the air out. Once the air is out of the system the motor will stop bouncing. I have been through this on my Yamaha 4 stroke 250
