I haven't reported in a while because white bass had not been in the main lake and the water has been murky. I went out yesterday to look for clearer water and to see if any fish had come back on structures. I am happy to report that I found both. In the Clear Creek fork water has cleared up enough to fish structures in up to 21 fow, water temp has come up rapidly to 62 degrees F and I caught a limit of white bass - some on #13 and the rest on Saint Annes Point West.

My theory is that, unlike every winter for the last 10 years when some white bass stayed in the lake and were catch-able on structures, this year due to the high number of rain events just about all the white went up the creeks. In the past 2 1/2 months i'd make one or two short trips a week looking for whites but nada - until yesterday. I caught 26 keeper whites and about a dozen 9 inchers. The fish were mostly about 11 inches with two going 13 inches. As water continues to clear up and water temp rises fishing should get better and better.

I found a map with Clear creek on it. Can you tell me where # 13 and Saint Annes Point West are? Can I buy a detailed map at a tackle store when I get there?

Dennis, you described the water as murky in the upper part of the lake. What would you say the visibility is?

Sounds like a very accurate assessment to me! Glad to see the lake clearing up down south, and glad you are CATCHING.

#13 is a hump just east of the 198 bridge (low bridge)
St Anne's is a street within the Pinnacle Club. There is a large point that jets out from the end of St. Anne's Street going towards Long Cove

I'm glad to hear there is finally something going on out there. I was out last weekend and we only caught a few here and there. I even fished around #13 and didn't catch any. I am still trying to learn my new sonar, so i'll blame that.

Thanks Sandpiper. I did print the map. It is a little hard to read. It is easier to read on the computer. Looking on the Navionics web app, I see a hump about 650 feet east of the bridge. It is 23 feet deep. The water in the area is 28 feet deep. Is that the #13 hump?
