We took a quick strole down to the river to try some jigs. We caught a few in various sizes. [Linked Image]

It amazes me the different sizes of fish that will hit a jig

Side Note: The bass must have had a great hatch this past year. Been catching plenty of them in both the fingerling and in the 5 to 8 inch range.

The water is so clear it's a great place to test our jigs. We can see exactly how they react to varying twitches of the rod tip and the action of different furs and feathers we use

Yes Sir you have a great set up for sure on testing all sorts of baits! Nicely done. Do you use any top water lures?

Thank you Gitter Done! To answer your question about topwater lures, yes we do use them. I use a bone colored she-dog and yesenia throws a baby bass colored one. Not sure the brand but it works [Linked Image]

These are the only ones we use and have had them for years. Our favorite time to fish them is during the summer at night. It's awesome to hear the blow-up then feel the rod load up thumb
