Looks like you guys had a great season. Awesome job and thanks for posting your catches! What stocking day was the best and the one that you will be at next season?

Skunked. Didn't see any either. I figured that if there were any left they were probably pushed upstream with all the traffic on the water, very busy with spring break. I also thought if there are any still there they would be near the far side of the river, water looked darker (deeper?) and shaded by trees. But I wasn't gonna wade it that COLD Frio river without waders! Saw lots of kids swimming in it though. So bummed I couldn't find any trout but being my first trip to Garner it sure is a beautiful park.

Friend of mine fished the Blanco yesterday morning. Did not catch any trout but saw an angler catch three nice ones. Angler stated that he lives in Blanco and fishes the park everyday. He says the trout are very few but he is still catching them. He further said that he had caught them at the park in Mid April.

Thanks for the replies Gitter,Texdan,and Curtis. Gitter: The trout stocking on the Llano River in Castel TX. was the best. The super cold temperature kept the crowd away and there was plenty of BIG trout to catch. Texdan: It's very hard to catch trout this time of year. The ones that are left are very scattered and hard to find. There are some anglers that get lucky and find a few. As Curtis aka Laker One stated,there are still a few trout being caught in the Blanco River.

I will wait until this winter.....
