When my local parks and wildlife weighed, measured, and took scale samples from the 12# I caught earlier this week they told me that the 13.4 caught on our lake last year was NOT a pure strain Florida bass so evidently they can still get pretty big being a cross breed. I'll have to follow up with them to see the results on mine.
