Grapevine doesnt fish well In the creeks for the most part and is a really late spawning lake. Fish spawn into June and really start in mid to late April. I wish it was that easy on Gvine.

I have and have not caught anything. Once they spawn you can get a few in the creeks but we are a ways from that this year.

Another zero in the Grapevine boat slips on Saturday. Fished from noon to about 2pm. Very windy. Water still murky. Tried all depths. Black/chart and white/threadfin jigs on pink heads and with crappie nibbles. Not a single bite.

I know a guy that fished it Sunday and couldn't get a bite on the main lake. He should have tried in the creek like I told him to but he just loves fishing brush piles. Everyone knows that you can't catch any good fish on brush piles this time a year but it's hard teaching old dogs new tricks!!! (And yes he is a 'dog' because he never threw out an invite. scared )

The creek isn't any better right now. Needs to warm up.

Yup! The warmer weather will bring them in and cold weather will push them out

This wind doesnt help the water temp either.
