Two weeks ago I was able to get under the bridge very easily with my Talons upright. I had about a foot to spare, now with it going down I would think it would be even easier.

I think the issue with the bridge was when the big waves were rolling.. it was so rough I never even tried on the days I could go. Days at work water_________ ... days off water /\/\/\/\/\/\.. lol

So I'm trying to plan my weekend at Rayburn, are you on or off Saturday or Sunday?

I fished there Jan 31, the lake hadn't started dropping much yet. We got under the 147 bridge it was concerning. The ramps I knew to be useable: Jackson Hill, Powell Park and Ayish. Harvey Creek was closed and Five Fingers was said to be closed. When I left on Feb 6 my neighbor said the lake dropped a foot. It looked like it in the backyard, but that is not scientific. Powell Park would be a lot better down a foot, it works but you have to get all your tires in the water to launch a bass boat. I would go ... also the water was clear around Powell and not clear around Jackson Hill. But that could have changed, I would just call Jackson Hill they are very helpful.

USGS site is 8.91 high right now. You can get under 147 if calm, but I wouldnt try it today with 22 mph winds.

I'm not old. My bobbers just float a little lower than they used to.

You can get under but it will still be HAIRY if there are good waves. Its dropping about a foot a week at the current rate of release. That's atleast 3 more weeks before ramps can dry out and a week or 2 after that to dry out and inspect.
