The second meeting of the Ray Hubbard Bass Club will be this Thursday night, February 7th at Bass Pro Shops in Garland. We'll get started at 7:00PM. We normally meet on the restaurant patio, but after checking the weather forecast, we will talk to them about moving inside to the larger conference room in the back. Larger is a relative thing. It probably will not be large enough to hold all of us, but we have some spillover room near the fireplace and we will set up a speaker so everyone can hear. RHBC officers will be set up in the front of the room to take memberships. VP David Mulkey and Treasurer Cameron Laing will be taking money and info from you and answering your questions. Membership costs $30.00 for the year and one membership is good for your entire immediate family. If you are a returning member, and there is no change to your contact info, merely pay your membership fee, sign the Sign In Sheet, We will mark you Paid and you are on your way. If you are a new member, or a returning member whose info has changed, we will need you to fill out an information form. That way we can get you on the Club e-mail list and I can fill your mail box with all I know which isn't much normally. Everyone needs to sign the Sign In Sheet as each meeting you attend is worth 10 AOY points. If you are unsure who any of these people are, ask someone who looks like they know what's going on and they will get you to the right people. Or you can ask me and I'll get you all turned around and questioning why you are there.

Topics will include rules changes that were voted in at the last meeting of 2018. We will go over the tournament schedule for 2019. We will decide on an end time for our Cypress Springs tournament in March We will go over our first tournament of 2019 coming up next Saturday Feb 9 on Lake Palestine. Start time as dictated by our rules will be 6:50AM and we will be running the tournament out of Lake Palestine Resort. We will be doing registration in the restaurant starting at 5:30AM and going to 6:30 or so. All info can be found here in the Bass Clubs section.

I will introduce our new officers for 2019. We will go over the qualification procedures for AOY and the Club Championship. We will go over the community events we currently have and talk about possible new ones. We will go over our tournament procedures for our new members so they will be familiar with it for Palestine. This is a back to basics meeting and mostly a chance to see old friends after a few months off and maybe make some new ones. If you are looking for a Club to fish with, come out and give us a look. You do not need to be a member to attend the meeting. Ask questions and if you like what you hear, join up! Have something to drink and something to eat and tip your server well!
