Nice kayak, you and your buddies will be very happy.
This is built like my coosa hd which is really tough.
You will fall in love with the seat.
Now you will have to figure out which kayak you want to take out each trip.
Happy paddling.

YakfishinTx81, with a new kayak and beautiful weather on Sunday, how do you like your new kayak?

Well we did get out, quick run to Marine Creek Res to test out the Cuda, unfortunately took a skunk home with me but didn't see anyone else catching em either so didn't feel too bad. Pretty windy and chilly in the morning but sunny and well worth the time on the water.

First impressions of the Cuda 12 - very fast even in the wind, a little noisier with the scupper plugs than my Kilroy, but water drains amazing and didn't pool at all. Very happy with all the rigging and storage options, couldn't tell you how the stability for standing is yet but I did stand up easily while in windy wakey water. No complaints at all. Probably gonna be fishing out of this exclusively now. Sit on top versus sit inside for my style of fishing is gonna be a game changer for me, way more access to all my gear on the water. Brazos River run soon.

Glad to hear you like it so much.
Thought once you took it out you would really like it.
Sorry you got skunked on maiden voyage.
I fished about 5 1/2 hours yesterday, 2 bites missed them both.
Tough fishing right now.

You mentioned easier access to your gear.
On my coosa hd, I removed the console so I can put tackle bag and bait cooler in front of me.
I have room on the track with the seat buckle for the fish finder mount.
I do not remember if that is an option on the cuda.
