I am sure not cranking it up like patriot07 is, but I can say that I've reached my goal of 220lbs now. I just weighed in at 219 lbs. It's been a lot slower process for me, but I'm happy that I'm able to restructure my goals on weight and step counts. If I were to follow the correct eating process, I'd be a lot lighter. But I want to do it at my own pace and very slowly. My most important objective is to burn more calories than I consume, and the weight will come off, eventually. I truly feel better than I have in a very long time. That's also important to me. My new goal is to reach 210 lbs by Halloween, maybe sooner. That's literally a scary time of year for me and sweets. That is when I start packing on additional weight....I can tear up some Halloween candy, then Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays soon after. And yes, I will partake but not like I've done in years past. Here's to healthier living......

As of 8/4/19

New weight: 219
New Goal: 210
New Step Count Total for Week (Mon-Sat): 70,000

I'm with you on the diet - there's nothing wrong with eating some good food, but the complete and utter gluttony I've had for years needs to become a thing of the past for me to keep my weight down at a healthy level.

Down a little over 70 pounds in 11 months just eating vegetables and meat in small portions. Basically went from about 5000+ calories a day to no more than 1200 per day. I thought that i was going to starve to death the first month but i have gotten used to it now.

Nice 1SNK and thrashfish!

Down to 204.8 today. Hoping to fast for 48 hours and weigh in tomorrow evening - I think I'll be there. Althoough I still have a week left, the stress relief of having the money no longer on the line will be huge.

I did my diet a bit differently. I just don't like veggies much at all, so I take daily vitamins and just pretty much eat enough meat that I'm not hungry and occasional carbs. I had half a burger and a few fries last night for dinner, so it's not the end of the world. Had a 6" subway turkey for lunch and didn't have anything for breakfast (although I usually have a couple of scrambled eggs with salsa).

I worked on our new rent house (first investment property for my wife and I) all day yesterday, and here was my fitbit. I'm sore and broke down today...

Yeah...one really long day. I was at the rent house at 6:15AM and didn't leave til 8PM. Installed a flower bed, tore up flooring in 3 rooms, stained about a third of the back deck, re-hung 2 doors, and sanded down some rough areas on the kitchen cabinets.
