the main difference in the brands that were discontinued is sales. legend an stratos did not have the sales numbers that triton has an that is what keeps a line running.

Same thing two years ago, when Jordan Lee announced he wouldnt be in a legend for 2018, I knew They were done too. Then all the legend lovers (Dax Davis where ya at) said the same thing. Oh theyre such amazing boats they would be stupid to do that, legend isnt going anywhere, I spoke to the factory and they are going to continue to produce them and blah blah blah now they goneeeeeee.

So here it is for the 3rd time, and Im gonna make it 3 for the 3. Triton is looking at their last 1-2 years to produce boats. Cue all the triton lovers, I heard The same thing from the Stratos and legend lovers with blinders on.

When I called to sign up for Triton gold this year Triton has even added staff. Johnny isnt going to shudder a successful company. Now if sales start to slip then its possible but not anytime soon.

At the owners tournament in Kentucky last year they introduced some of the new staff, some of them had been with Mercury for 15 yrs and are at the new triton plant.

The carpets are good and all the hinges are in tack. For an 18 year old boat it's holding up well. The only thing that I would do different is go bigger for the larger front deck and better ride in the rough water. If this is the boat that fits your budget and in the garage I would go for it. Is that a '64 in your garage?

That is a 1966, 289 V8, 3 speed manual.
