Why does it matter if a company is gone? Is it a warranty thing or a pride thing? I fish from a Javelin, I get it worked on when I need to, it floats and goes where I need it to, I catch a bunch of fish out of it, just don't get why people get wound up about a boat company closing. If you like the boat and it fits your budget and your needs, buy it!

I think gman runs one and was showing how to ride rough water on Toledo. Looked super stable. If it was a triton

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!

It will matter when your transom or hull cracks. That lifetime warranty will be worthless then.

It's obviously still raw for you. But I think Legend is the only Brand they have ever done that too.

...Uh, Astro, Procraft, Stratos, and thats just the bass boat brands, Johnny Morris is a brand consolidating master.

I have a 1997 Triton. Dad bought it new and between he and I, we've been running it for 22 years. One VRO pump, one power pack, a handful of batteries and tires, and it's never left us stranded. Couldn't love it any more. Caught a ton of big fish out of it. Think I'm the only one who's fished out of it more than twice who has not caught a 10+ :-(

I have a 2001 TR 186 w/150 hp - Max. HP for that year model, bought used in 2005. I live a and fish on Lake Fork. That boat have been put to the test. I wouldn't have any problem with buying another one. It can take rough water if you drive it right. The seats were replaced a few years back, they had some wear on them. The carpets are good and all the hinges are in tack. For an 18 year old boat it's holding up well. The only thing that I would do different is go bigger for the larger front deck and better ride in the rough water. If this is the boat that fits your budget and in the garage I would go for it. Are you saying Morris bought those and shut them down.

I can't believe Johnny Morris hasn't closed all his boat factories and moved them to China. All his other junk is made in China.
