Well you get what you pay for and no trips to the shop ever except regular maintenance. Same on the wife's 2008 Forerunner with 126,000 miles. Sorry but Toyota can't be beat for realibility and resale value.

we'll disagree about reliability, but resale is a non-starter for me. I drive them till the wheels fall off.

I thought the title said Chevy most reliable AND pulled. I was going to agree.

I need a Chevy for this. It's the only one that would work.

Yep, and did you notice that several trucks have lift kits. Probably crappy spacer lifts but they are modded

Well as embarrassing as it may be, and although I love my F150 dearly, here is a photo of some chrome tow hooks on the front of it. I always thought they were for Chevies to pull me out, but I guess it will have to be a Tundra now.

From the Detroit News yesterday

But J.D. Power's 2018 dependability rankings, which are more similar to the study Chevy commissioned for its reliability ad in that it looks at 2015 model year vehicles, ranked Chevrolet above Toyota, Honda and Ford.

Has this actually ever happened to anyone? If so, how fast were you going and was it on a freeway or a bad place like Arlington?

As far as price goes. Price a Tundra loaded then go price a Chevy. The Chevy will be 3-5 thousand more. That's a lot of gas.

The one I saw a few weeks ago had some weird disclaimer. It was something along the lines of..... According to a recent Chevy owners poll, Chevy is the most reliable blah blah blah...

I am a GM man. Actually worked for their IT department for years. Still pulling my boat with a '03 pickup. Not one issue. Brake shoes ..... change the oil ..... No problem.
