Hit the Nueces on Thursday, launched at the Highway 59 ramp and ran down river. Only one trailer there when I arrived at 8:00AM. Only saw 4 boats on the river and fished until 3:00PM. Caught 13 white bass, 6 were keepers. No females, and the keepers were ~12". Water was high -- about 3-5 feet above last year. DIdn't see much bait in the water. Water temperatures at the ramp ~ 57 degrees, ~ 62 degrees downstream at the bridge. The other boats I talked to had 1-4 fish, so overall a very slow day. Looks like the run is pretty much over.
