I love the lake choice but won't be able to make it due to my work schedule. Will be at Fork over spring break for 2 weeks then back for 2 more starting on Apr. 5th. Good luck to all those that participate.

Why not pick a lake between you two. Ivie makes the third point in a triangle between DFW and Seguin.

Wherever its going to be, is there going to be a boat race? I won't win but may have a chance to place.

RATZ, forgive me if this has been asked before but I'm just asking, has any consideration been given to a more central location? As in somewhere that's about halfway between the Texas areas with the most TFF'ers? I'm thinking that the overwhelming number of members live within an hour of the DFW or Houston area. For instance I can drive to Houston, Austin, or DFW in an average time of 2 hours.
You ever thought of a good sized lake like Richland Chambers? Or Lake Whitney? Just asking. Carry on.

most folks the other day picked fork so I picked fork. I've learned when I do these things I just have to make a decision oe else everyone bitches about it. I said I wasn't going to do it and for that reason. Not saying you are as you give great reasons why those lakes work. Also It has to have a good place to stay.

I'll be there if that weekend doesnt end up being our annual Toledo bend Trip weekend... .havent locked in a date yet.

RATZ dont let the guys get to you... lol. Most of the folks giving you grief about the lake probably dont even fish or wouldnt show up anyway.

What is this big tournament yall are talking about on Fork that weekend? Its not Sealy or any of the Basschamps events so it cant be that big... there are tournaments on Fork every weekend from Feb till November no big deal. Its not really that crowded anymore, all the out of state folks are traveling to Rayburn these days.

Also, wasn't it last year's GTG when a majority of the responders said they would go (or would have gone) if it was at Fork?

Kentucky Lake is the perfect choice. Thousand miles of shoreline. Deep water. Get to experience the charms of the Asian carp. Fish the humps.

Regardless of what lake is chosen, will there be a trailer backing seminar?
