With the water level of Sam Rayburn at 173.31 (+8.91) at this moment and with the FLW fishing this week and weekend is it possible to get under the 147 bridge right now? I know it was getting pretty close to being too high to get under it. If it’s passable now, I wonder at what water level will in not be possible?

It's getting to where you will question it and you sure wont run it. A good wind and you might hit it in the waves maybe. Might just look closer than it is

147 still passable however idling strongly suggested. A strong north or south east wind will limit access. Boaters encouraged to use caution. lake level 9.05 above pool.

I was told they’re building a ramp on both sides for this weekend. Consensus is to at least be going 65 mph to make the jump over, and safely avoid vehicles on the bridge.
Basically this will eliminate anyone fishing out of a ranger. Skeeters are obviously good to go.

Yes you can still go under 147. But you can stand up in your boat and touch the bridge. 😬😬

I admit you’re correct, I wouldn’t make it, primarily due to the fact I’d have to stop and help a fellow fisherman in need. Most like one that owns a mercury 150 optimax with a cracked lower unit lol

LOL... 65... ![popcorn popcorn](/forums/images/graemlins/default/popcorn.gif) If you have a bullet with a 300 merc then you’re good, hell I’d bet if you just stick your arms out while you’re driving it would damn near start to lift and fly over.
