Great guy and honest repair service! Agreed He has replaced 3 or 4 transmission for me in my vehicles, ran like a champ after that But not for long if he had to replace 4.

one thing i don't do is use "rebuilt" transmissions. Its hardly ever done correctly. Not many people can really do it well. They normally [censored] out again. I just buy one out of a wreck and replace.

I quit buying Fords 10 years ago and have not needed a mechanic since. I was a die hard General Motors, even can buy at employee discount due to being a legacy. I have had nothing but praise for my Fords, they have the triton 5.4 engines and run great. I have one van with close to 400K miles on the engine. I have to rebuild the front ends about every 100k miles, and change some coil packs out from time to time, other than that they are impressive with their longevity.

My Fords are always first on race day..... my last F150 was more of a Fix Or Repair Daily. All obvious design flaws.
