37lb Smallmouth Buffalo, I couldn't lift such a big fish properly at the time but since then I've been practicing!

A little blurry, that's the last time I let a passerby take a photo! Was 20lb even when I caught him so he's grown a bit. Has the same huge hump above his head. Wish I'd gotten both sides to know for sure.

could very well be 4ozs and not much difference when its that weight imo....

I have never ate gar before but have friends who have. They all say that Gar is very good eating. They say the back strap is the best along with straps of undercut meat. They also say frying them is the best. thumb

that place is hit or miss .the last few times i have gone its been 1 fish in the morning then nothing the rest of the day, so makes it really tough staying out there from sun up to sun down. I have had my share of blanks there too.
