Has anyone been to Lake Welsh lately. Have a few day off between Christmas and New Years and we hope they were generating power and the water was warm?

I was there last Wednesday and the water temp was between 62-67 and the grass was healthy and green out to 13 feet.

I went last Tuesday and the parking lot was full when I arrived. It's busy every day!

Went Tuesday the 18th. Had about 20 trailer there at 8:00 am. We had a good day. Caught about fifteen using orange trick worms and blk/yel flukes. The go to color seemed to Black sapphire speed craws and baby brush hawgs pitched in holes next to the buck brush (3/8oz pegged weight). There are some nice bed fish on the inside edges of the grass. I heard that swim flukes were doing good on the outside edge of the grass. Hope this helps, good luck.

Yes, It's the Midnight Chartreuse ones. They worked good with a little split-shot on the head. The trick worms we used had a nail in the tail.
Got them at Oak Ridge Marina on Fork.

The east shoreline, and cove straight across from the boat ramp to the right of the island. try the old roadbed 100 yards south of the island also.

Wow, talk about helping a dude out. Glad no one else knows. Seriously, that's some good info. Thanks, I owe you one.

Fished Welsh twice and both times did well. Fished it with the same colors I fish Fork with.
